Space and Sensory Room

The Nurseries soft play room is where children can play, explore and learn in a stimulating environment that encourages their physical, emotional and intellectual development. 

Official Governement Advice is that children need to do at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day that gets their heart beating faster than usual, so even on the rainiest of days the children can be active whilst exploring in a fun environment.

The Sensory Hub is designed to create a stimulating and yet calming atmosphere. Reports detail the positive effects of exposure to a multi sensory environment, providing a 'failure free' experience allowing pleasurable stimulation without the need for verbal abilities or requiring specific outcomes.
